Project Overview
Set on an elevated wooded lot with natural rock outcroppings, this Cox Pools installation required a coping and deck solution that could bridge two worlds: the raw, organic character of the existing boulder features and the clean, architectural lines of a modern pool build.
Elite InKast's large-format pavers provided the precise dimensional tolerances needed for clean coping installation on the spa and pool perimeter, while the running-bond deck surface created a neutral field that lets the natural stone surroundings do the talking.
The Challenge
The site's natural granite outcroppings and irregular terrain made this more than a standard coping job. Cox Pools needed a paver product with consistent thickness tolerances to achieve tight, professional coping joints on both the pool and the elevated spa, while working around existing rock formations that couldn't be moved.
The Approach
Elite InKast's architectural pavers were specified for their dimensional consistency and clean, natural aesthetic. The cream-toned surface was laid in a horizontal running bond on the pool deck, while the same product served as coping for the pool and spa perimeter, creating a unified look across a complex site.
The Result
The finished installation presents a polished architectural face that complements, rather than competes with, the natural boulder features. The pool and spa coping sit flush and clean, and the deck transitions seamlessly from paver to natural stone. A surface built to last in the most demanding outdoor conditions.
